The Supreme Court on Monday issued notice to the National Board of Examinations (NBE) regarding the petition filed by NEET PG students. Hearing the matter, a bench of Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice Surya Kant has sent notices to NBE and others asking them to file their reply on the petition.
In the petition filed, the petitioners have contended that the NBA’s arbitrariness in not releasing the answer keys of the exam has posed a serious problem to the NEET PG candidates. This petition has been filed to bring this matter to the notice of the court. The petition has also challenged the decision of NBE not to give the option of revaluation or rechecking to the students in case of discrepancy in the marks of the examination results.
