Rajasthan High Court ordered that the second counseling for NEET PG 2022 admission will not be conducted. This decision has been taken by the Rajasthan High Court because during the interview process, the board mistakenly selected two candidates for one seat in Jaipuria Hospital. However, the issue is now settled as one of the candidates was allotted a seat in Dr. Sampoornanand Medical College, SNMC Jodhpur.
NEET 2022: May be postponed till July, here’s the reason
The matter was heard by a bench of Justice Ashok Kumar Gaur, who later settled the issue after which the second round of counseling was withdrawn.
The Rajasthan High Court said, “The MBBS DNB seat was initially given to Dr Lalit Dhakkar in Jaipuria Hospital and he was entitled to get admission on the seat as per his merit and choice.” The seat of SNMC Jodhpur was then given to Dr. Sabir Mohammad in the Department of Pediatrics.
The State PG Counseling Board issued an order stating that “In compliance with the order passed by the Rajasthan High Court, the orders of re-counselling issued on March 17, 2022 and March 20, 2022 stand withdrawn with immediate effect.”
