Who is Ramlal Bhoi?
Ramlal Bhoi comes from a very poor family. His family lives in a kutcha house built on the banks of Bedach river in Ghosunda village of Chittorgarh. Electricity facility in the house is also not regular and there is a lot of water problem. His father supports the family by working as a laborer in the fields, while his mother helps run the household by selling animal fodder. Ramlal is one of five siblings. Despite financial constraints and many difficulties, he did not leave his studies and achieved success on the basis of his hard work.
Child marriage happened at the age of 11 years
Ramlal stayed in Kota and prepared for the medical entrance exam NEET and achieved success on the basis of his hard work. His childhood was full of struggles. When he was just 11 years old and studying in sixth class, he was subjected to child marriage. However, this incident did not let his dream of studies weaken.
It was not easy for Ramlal to continue his studies due to the conservative thinking of the society. His father also did not want him to study further after 10th class. There came a time when his father scolded him for being influenced by others and asked him to leave his studies. But Ramlal did not back down from his goal. He did not give up and kept his dream of becoming a doctor alive.

In a report published in NDTV, Ramlal was quoted as saying that his family was very weak financially. He passed class 10th from the government school of his village with 74 percent marks. After this he went to Udaipur to study agriculture in class 11th. While studying in Udaipur, his teachers gave him information about Biology subject and NEET exam for the first time. Before this he did not even know that to become a doctor it was necessary to pass the NEET exam. After this he decided to aim to become a doctor and started preparing with full dedication.
After this, Ramlal completed his 11th and 12th studies with Biology subject. During this time, he used to study by staying in the free Ambedkar hostel run by the Social Welfare Department, due to which his education could continue despite financial constraints.

Ramlal passed class 12th in the year 2019 with 81 percent marks. In the initial years, Ramlal prepared for NEET by self-study without any coaching. He scored 350 marks in 2019, 320 marks in 2020 and 362 marks in 2021, but he did not get success.
After this his teachers advised him to go to Kota for coaching for better preparation. To fulfill his son’s dream, his father took a loan and sent him to Kota. After studying there his preparation became stronger. He scored 490 marks in NEET 2022 and finally cleared the NEET exam in his fifth attempt in 2023.
