The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will soon release the results of the Joint Defense Service (CDS) Exam 2025. It is expected that the results will be declared in the second or third week of October 2025. Candidates taking the examination will be able to see and download their results by visiting the official website of the Commission upsc.gov.in.
Examination conduct
The exam was held on September 14, 2025 in three sessions across the country: English paper from 9 am to 11 am, general knowledge paper from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm and Early Mathematics paper from 4 pm to 6 pm.
What is the selection process?
Candidates who are successful in this exam will now be called for SSB interview and medical test. The interview will evaluate the mental capacity, communication skills and leadership properties of the candidate in the interview.

First of all, visit UPSC website upsc.gov.in.
Click on the UPSC CDS 2 Result 2025 link on the homepage.
Enter your login credentials.
The result will appear on the screen.
Download the result and save it for the future.
Important information
Candidates are advised to maintain their e-admit card, as it may be required to see the result. If there is an error or discrepancy in the admit card, the candidate immediately inform the Commission via email at E16Sectionupsc@nic.in.
