According to sources, the support of a total of 11 MLAs from Congress (5 seats), VCK (2), CPI (2) and CPI(M) (2) will be enough to give TVK a majority. According to the report, informal talks are going on with these parties. It is being told that he has expressed his desire to form a coalition government.
According to the Indian Express, VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan said that the people want a coalition government. We and the Left parties will work under the secular front in the state. At the same time, TVK sources said that Vijay had supported the idea of a coalition government during the election campaign itself.

According to the report, under the proposed alliance, Congress is likely to get two ministries, while VCK and Left parties may be given one ministry each. TVK is preparing to hand over a total of 4 to 6 ministerial posts to its allies, so that the lack of experience can be compensated.
