According to the information available on the Commission’s website till 1 pm on Tuesday, BJP’s Piyush Kanodia is leading by 309 votes in the last 18th phase. However, the official result has not been declared yet. It is being told that after objection regarding very minor difference, the calculation is being done again.
Central observers appointed for legislative party leader elections
Here, BJP has appointed Union Home Minister Amit Shah as the central observer for the election of its legislature party leader in West Bengal. According to the party notification, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has been appointed co-observer in Assam and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has been appointed co-observer in West Bengal.
