Tamil cinema star Dhanush is all set to play the role of former President and aerospace scientist APJ Abdul Kalam in a biopic directed by Om Raut. The film titled Kalam: The Missile Man of India was unveiled at the Cannes Film Market on Wednesday.
Dhanush shared the announcement along with the first poster of the film on his Instagram account. He wrote, “I feel truly blessed and extremely humbled to portray the life of such an inspiring and generous leader – our very own Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Sir.” “Kalam” is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series and Abhishek Agarwal and Anil Sunkara of Abhishek Agarwal Arts.
