Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar on Tuesday thanked fans for supporting him in the last three decades through a message on social media on the occasion of his 58th birthday.
Akshay shared a post on his ‘Instagram’ handle, in which he is seen standing in front of the poster of his films. Kumar has been in more than 34 years while in the film industry, during which he has acted in more than 150 films.
He wrote, “Life of 58 years, 34 years in the industry, more than 150 films and counting continues… Thank you every person who ever believed in me, bought a ticket, signed me, made my films, directed and guided me. This journey is as much as you are, the more you are.”
Kumar first got the lead role in the 1991 film ‘Saugandh’. He was successful with the film ‘Khiladi’ released in 1992.
He finally wrote, “Thank you for giving me unconditional support and encouraging me. I am nothing without you. My birthday is dedicated to all who still believe in me today.”
The actor is currently preparing for the release of ‘Jolly LLB 3’, including Arshad Warsi. The film is the third part of the ‘Jolly LLB’ series, and will be released on the big screen on 19 September. It is directed by Subhash Kapoor.
