Maruti Suzuki has launched its first electric SUV, The E Vitara EVX: Maruti Suzuki is now ready to step into the electric vehicle segment.
Maruti Suzuki has introduced its first fully Electric SUV ‘E Vitara’ (EVX) in Auto Expo 2025, which can be launched by the end of the first half of 2025.
This will be Maruti’s only new SUV to be launched this year, which will be completely based on new platforms and powertrain.
E Vitara will be introduced with two battery options. The first will be a 49 kwh battery pack, which will come in single motor and front-wheel drive layout. This variant will generate 144 bhp power and 189 Nm of torque.
The second option will be of 61 KWH battery, which will be available in two configurations – one single motor FWD and the other dual motor AWD. The FWD variant will give 172 bhp of power and 192.5 Nm of torque, while the AWD variant will generate a joint power of 184 bhp and 300 Nm of torque.
With a large battery pack, this SUV can give a range of about 500 km. There will be no shortage of advance features in this electric SUV.
Features like 10.25-inch touchscreen system, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, ambient lighting, electrically adjustable front seats and level 2 adas.
