The lockdown due to Corona virus across India had a deep impact on many people including film stars, TV actors, technicians. Especially the small actors and supporting role actors who did not have as much bank balance as the big stars, the condition of those people became very bad. Something similar happened with actor Javed Haider, whose girl child studying in class VIII was thrown out of school for not paying school fees.
In a conversation with Aaj Tak, actor Javed Haider told that he has worked in many films and TV serials till date. But he did not get any work during the lockdown, due to which he started going through a period of financial crisis. However, even after this, he kept everything in mind and was also paying his daughter’s fees on time. However, for the last few months, he did not have any money settlement and he could not pay his daughter’s fees.
Due to non-payment of fees on time, her daughter studying in class VIII was expelled from the school from the online class. When he talked to the school operators about this, it was answered on their behalf that already the fees for three months have been waived by the school. Javed says that after this he somehow arranged and paid the fees and his daughter was again added to the online class.
Javed says that he gets sad thinking that how the family who earn 10 to 15 thousand a month is running the house. He believes that the school administration and the government should think something about this. He said that many of his friends had also advised him to seek help from big stars. But he is ashamed to ask for money from big stars. Javed says that many times on asking for money, people in front start ignoring you, in such a situation, there is a problem in getting the work that is going to be done. In such a situation, during this entire time, he had earned his living by borrowing from his other friends and selling his wife’s jewelry.
