New Delhi, July 26 (IANS). In today’s busy life, it is becoming a challenge for people to devote time to their health regularly. Its effect gradually becomes visible on the body and the risk of many health related problems can increase. Experts believe that if some time is taken out daily for yoga, it can help in reducing the risk of many diseases. As the saying goes, “Prevention is better than cure.”
Due to reduced blood circulation in the body, oxygen and essential nutrients do not reach the organs in sufficient quantity. Due to this, problems like cold hands and feet, feeling of numbness or tingling and longer time for injuries or wounds to heal can occur.
At the same time, the problem of pain and weakness in the back and neck muscles is also becoming common among people who work sitting at one place for a long time. Its main reasons are considered to be wrong body posture (bad posture), sitting continuously for a long time and lack of regular exercise. Due to these reasons, there is extra pressure on the muscles, due to which they can gradually become weak.
In this sequence, the Ministry of AYUSH has advised people to do Ardha Ustrasana on the social media platform ‘X’. According to the ministry, this light backbend yoga asana is considered helpful in strengthening the body, increasing flexibility and maintaining better overall health.
According to the Ministry of AYUSH, regular practice of Ardha Ustrasana can strengthen the muscles of the back and neck. The ministry says that it can also be helpful in providing relief from constipation and back pain. Additionally, it may help improve blood circulation in the head and heart area, thereby better supplying the body with oxygen and essential nutrients. According to the ministry, regular practice of this yoga asana can be an effective step towards adopting a healthy and active lifestyle.
