New Delhi, March 24 (IANS). Navratri, the festival of worship of Goddess Bhagwati, is going on, in which devotees observe a fast and worship the Goddess with devotion. Actress Anu Aggarwal said in a post on social media that she has been fasting on the occasion of Navratri for many years.
‘Aashiqui’ fame actress Anu Aggarwal has shared her unique thinking regarding fasting on the occasion of Navratri. He said that what people think of as fasting is actually eating wisely. Along with the post on Instagram, Anu wrote that Navratri comes at a time when the seasons are changing and the body naturally slows down. In such a situation, light and balanced food keeps the body healthy and prevents unnecessary diseases.
Anu wrote, “What people call fasting is not actually fasting. It is about being conscious of what you eat and what suits your body at that time. I myself cook food thoughtfully.”
She told that she has been adopting this habit for years. Anu asked fans, “Do you cook? Tell me. Do it with love, it has many benefits.”
Anu Aggarwal remains active on social media and keeps sharing things related to health, lifestyle and personal experiences with her followers. Recently, while talking about his life-changing road accident in 1999, he said that apart from his face, his entire body was disfigured. She said, “People used to talk only about the face, but I had to heal the entire body. I recovered myself with patience, acceptance and happiness.”
Anu described yoga, discipline, living thoughtfully and faith as her biggest balm. He said that continuing all this work was also helpful in his recovery.
