Ashtanga Leh: A mixture of eight effective herbs, which keeps the body strong from within.

Vang Bhasma: Ayurvedic Treasure of Strength, Digestion and Reproductive Health

New Delhi, November 17 (IANS). Ashtanga Leh is considered to be one of those special medicines of Ayurveda, which contains a combination of eight effective herbs. It is used to increase body strength, relieve fatigue, improve digestion and provide protection from diseases.

Amla is considered to be the most important ingredient in Ashtanga Leh, which is naturally rich in Vitamin C and strengthens the immunity. Giloy gives strength to the body to fight diseases and helps in keeping the blood pure.

Shatavari and Ashwagandha nourish the body from within, which increases energy, reduces stress and removes both mental and physical fatigue.

Vidarikand improves the reproductive and hormonal health of both men and women. Pippali speeds up digestion, increases appetite and improves absorption of medicines. Haritaki is considered helpful in removing constipation, keeping the skin clean and removing the waste accumulated in the body. Liquorice has a soothing and protective effect on the throat, lungs and respiratory system.

Due to all these properties, regular consumption of Ashtanga Leh helps a lot in strengthening the body. It is considered especially useful for those people who always feel tired, suffer from weakness, are under stress or mental pressure or fall ill frequently. It also keeps the digestion healthy, due to which the food gets digested properly and the body gets complete nutrition. It is also considered to provide relief in cough, sore throat or minor respiratory problems.

The traditional way of consuming it is to take it in small quantities with lukewarm milk or water in the morning and evening, but like any Ayurvedic medicine, taking it only after consulting a Vaidya or doctor is considered to be the safest and most beneficial.
