New Delhi, February 3 (IANS). Today’s hectic and irregular daily routine leaves no stone unturned in making the entire body a home of diseases. However, one can remain healthy by daily practice of Yogasana. By practicing ‘Bhujbandha-Shakti-Vikasak’ not only the body but also the mind remains healthy.
The Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India has advised to include a simple and effective yoga practice ‘Bhujbandha-Shakti-Vikasak’ in the daily life of the people under the Nitya Yoga campaign. This exercise is especially effective in strengthening the muscles of the shoulders, arms and upper body. Regular exercise not only increases the physical strength of the body but also provides energy, vigor and mental freshness.
Bhujbandha-Shakti-Vikasak yoga practice activates the muscles of the arms and shoulders and increases their strength and flexibility. This action improves blood circulation in the upper part of the body, helps in removing fatigue by making the muscles strong and attractive.
According to experts, this exercise can be done easily at home and no special equipment is required. Simple way to practice: First of all, stand straight with both legs together. Keep the body stress free. Make fists of both hands. Then bend both the arms at the elbow, so that a 90 degree angle is formed between the elbow and the shoulder. Keeping the fists in a straight line, bring both the hands rapidly in front of the chest and then move them backwards. Repeat this action rapidly back and forth. Do this 20-30 times in the beginning, you can gradually increase the number.
There are many benefits from this practice. The muscles of the shoulders and arms become strong and muscular. Blood circulation increases in the upper part of the body, which removes fatigue and lethargy. Provides relief from stiffness and pain in shoulders. The body gets energy. Regular practice increases hand strength and improves posture.
