New Delhi, 11 September (IANS). The National Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL) Conclave was organized in Delhi. This is a two -day program. It aims to discuss India’s progress in the detection and diagnosis of new bacteria, viruses and pathogens.
Union Minister Anupriya Patel gave information about this during a media interaction.
Anupriya Patel said that on Thursday we organized the National Viral Research and Diagnosis Laboratory (VRDL) Conclave with representatives of all 164 VRDL across the country. Its focus is being discussed by India’s progress in detection and diagnosis of new bacteria, viruses and pathogens.
Anupriya Patel said that with this, how the future health security of our country is strengthening it. All these subjects will be discussed in this conclave. This program is two -day. During this time we have also launched a new portal. Transparency will come through this portal and this portal is industry friendly. Because whoever is our new applicant, who is a manufacturer, who is making new diagnostic kits, can easily send his application on this portal and track his progress.
Union Health Minister JP Nadda reviewed the current status of dengue and malaria with the aim of speeding up the preventive activities being carried out by the states. On this, Anupriya Patel said that advisory is issued from time to time to the states by the Government of India. This is the subject of public health state governments. Therefore advisory is issued. We see the outbreak of weather -borne diseases like dengue and malaria. Through this advisory, the caution and precaution that the state governments should take from time to time are warned from time to time. State governments are also working strictly on this, so that more and more people can provide protection from these diseases.
