New Delhi, March 11 (IANS). Like all other parts of the body, ear is also the most important part of our body which not only helps in hearing but also helps in maintaining the balance of the body.
People are generally not very serious about ear hygiene unless there is pain. Sometimes yellow, white, or watery fluid comes out from the ear, which is ignored, but it is not normal but can also be a sign of infection.
There can be many reasons behind yellow, white, or watery fluid coming out of the ear. It can also be caused by a bacterial or viral infection in the ears, a ruptured eardrum, an ear injury, a fungal infection, an ear pimple, or a throat infection. If there is light red discharge from the ear or complaint of pain, consult a doctor immediately. Even a little carelessness can damage the ears.
Ayurveda suggests several remedies to prevent ear discharge and infection, but these are effective only if the symptoms are not severe. Garlic oil can be used for this. Garlic has natural anti-bacterial properties. To make this, cook garlic cloves in mustard oil and then filter them and take them out separately. When it becomes lukewarm, put two drops in the ears. This will provide relief from both pain and fluid.
Basil juice also helps protect against infection. It does not have to be inserted directly into the ears; It has to be applied in the area around the ears. Apart from this, Neem oil is also full of antifungal and antibacterial properties. Applying it on the outer part of the ear also reduces infection.
Consumption of turmeric milk is also beneficial in case of ear pain and infection. It helps in reducing pain and increasing the body’s immunity. Turmeric milk can also be used regularly. In Ayurveda, ear infection has been linked to phlegm and pitta dosha. Excess of phlegm and pitta dosha in the body increases the possibility of ear pain.
