Effective flavonoid-rich diet in prevention of dementia: Research

New Delhi, 16 September (IANS). Now your food can be more effective than medicines to avoid neurological serious illness like dementia. There have been many research about this. It claims that if you include 6 additional servings of flavonoid -rich foods in your daily diet, the risk of dementia may be reduced by 28 percent.

According to the National Library of Medicine, flavonoids are natural compounds, which are found in foods such as fruits, vegetables, tea, dark chocolate. Their relations have been linked to better brain health, reduce inflammation and reduce oxidative stress in the body.

According to research, high blood pressure (high BP), depression, or genetically dementia risk from flavonoid -containing diets. According to a report published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, food rich foods rich in gut bacteria and flavonoids are very beneficial in removing high blood pressure problems. This is also because when we consume them, the bacteria found in the intestine helps to break them.

This study indicates that the right nutrition can improve not only physical but also mental health. There are some fruits and food products that can reduce problems by adding daily diets. It includes green leafy vegetables like apple, orange, blueberry, strawberry, spinach, green or black tea, dark chocolate, citrus fruits and grapes.

Experts believe that Flavonoids can help maintain coomalic functions in the brain and slow down the mental decline that comes with age.

It is advisable to increase the amount of flwonoid -rich foods in food to protect against mental illness like dementia. Not only the taste, it can also act as a powerful defense shield for your brain.
