New Delhi, May 23 (IANS). In today’s busy life, many people constantly feel tired and lethargic. They think that this is a normal thing, so many times people ignore this big problem by drinking sugar water or taking sleep. According to health experts, frequent fatigue and lethargy can be danger signals given by the body. If it is ignored, it can lead to serious health problems later on.
According to the National Health Mission (NHM), feeling tired frequently is often an early sign of obesity and other related diseases. Due to this the body gradually starts becoming weak from inside. According to experts, it can increase the risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, fatty liver and heart problems.
When body weight increases uncontrollably, it puts extra pressure on different parts of the body. This reduces the energy level and the person feels tired throughout the day. Poor eating habits, less physical activity, stress and irregular sleep also promote this problem.
If you also have this problem, then there is no need to panic, but prevention can be done with some habits. NHM advises people not to accept fatigue as normal and find out its cause. You can get rid of this problem by adopting some simple habits. Health experts say that by adopting small healthy habits we can avoid major diseases. If symptoms like weight gain, shortness of breath or loss of appetite are seen along with fatigue, then definitely consult a doctor. Serious diseases can be prevented by paying attention in time.
Reduce salt intake, excess salt increases blood pressure and causes fatigue, use less oil and ghee and eat a balanced diet with less oil. Take sugar in limited quantity, excessive consumption of sweet things invites obesity and diabetes. Exercise daily, for this, do walking, yoga or any physical activity for at least 30-45 minutes. Drink more water especially in summer. Dehydration is also a major cause of fatigue.
