Governing body meeting in RIMS, ventilator for patients and smart class will start for students

Ranchi: Governing body meeting was held in RIMS on Tuesday. Health Minister Irfan Ansari presided over the meeting. He said that within a month a big change will be seen in RIMS. First of all, 200 ventilators will be installed in RIMS. This facility will provide relief to the patients. These ventilators will be fixed and installed in the departments. He said that the toilet arrangements will be changed. He directed the concerned department to construct toilets on the lines of the airport. Also said that the toilet video which had gone viral disturbed me too.
The management will no longer operate the hostel at RIMS. In the Governing Body meeting, it was decided that all the hostels on the campus will now be operated on PPP mode. Instructions have been given to immediately repair the broken floor in the hospital. The Health Minister said that the department has been instructed to restore it as before as soon as possible so that the patients do not have to face any kind of problem.
Now the ward boy will be reinstated in the hospital. These ward boys will help the patients. At present people coming for treatment face a lot of problems. They keep wandering even though they don’t understand the language. Many times we cannot even reach a doctor. In such a situation, the ward boy will help the people.
There has been a proposal for 250 PG seats in RIMS. The Health Minister said that this was discussed in the meeting. Under this, Rs 1.5 crore will be available on one seat. This proposal will be sent to the Government of India. The building will be expanded after receiving the money. The number of faculty will be increased. The Health Minister said that we have given instructions to purchase the machines immediately. The matter was in cold storage for a long time. We have said that patients should not face any problem in emergency situations.
He told that BIT had asked for demolition of the building. But Mecon has advised that the old building can be improved by making changes. For this, building construction work has been asked to start. Now smart class will start for medicos in RIMS. Rehab center for patients will be started in the ortho ward. Rs 45 crore will be spent for this. This facility will be started in all the medical colleges of the state.
