Greater Noida, January 7 (IANS). A free medical camp was successfully organized by the Health Department in Delta Forest area of Greater Noida. This camp was organized under the direction of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Gautam Buddha Nagar Dr. Narendra Kumar, with the objective of checking the health of the citizens living in the area and providing them necessary medical facilities.

The camp was organized through the Medical Superintendent, Community Health Center Dadha, Dankaur. Giving information, CMO Dr. Narendra Kumar said that in recent days, complaints of health problems like vomiting and diarrhea were reported by some people in the Delta Forest area. Taking these complaints seriously, the Health Department decided to immediately organize a free medical camp, so that the affected people can get timely treatment and the spread of any possible disease can be prevented.

In this medical camp, Dr. Shilpi Shukla examined the patients and gave them advice. Along with him, pharmacist Ved Prakash distributed essential medicines, while staff nurse Kusum did the primary examination and care of the patients.

During the camp, Ward Boy Krishna Kumar handled the arrangements smoothly, so that the patients did not face any inconvenience. A total of 23 people were health examined during the camp. Of these, 7 patients were found affected by vomiting and diarrhea, who were immediately given medicines and given information about necessary precautions related to eating habits.

Doctors advised patients to drink clean water, maintain cleanliness and contact the nearest health center immediately if symptoms increase. The health department also decided to test the quality of drinking water as a precautionary measure. Under this, drinking water samples were collected from 5 houses in the Delta Forest area, which have been sent to the laboratory for testing.

Officials say that after the investigation report comes, further action will be taken as required. The Health Department has appealed to the common citizens not to panic in case of any health problem and immediately avail the benefits of government health services.

Besides, it has also been advised to use clean water and take special care of hygiene. The Health Department has assured that any health related problems in the area will be continuously monitored and such medical camps will be organized in future also if needed.
