New Delhi, March 8 (IANS). Our body is made up of many metals. According to Ayurveda, the body is made up of seven dhatus, which include rasa dhatu, rakta dhatu, meat dhatu, meda dhatu, asthi dhatu, marrow dhatu and shukra dhatu.
These seven metals together help in keeping the entire body balanced, but due to imbalance of one metal the body becomes home to diseases. Today we will learn about the imbalance of Rasa Dhatu.
According to Ayurveda, Rasa Dhatu is the first Dhatu included in the seven Dhatus, whose scientific name is Plasma. If understood in simple language, the juice formed inside the body from digested food is called Rasa Dhatu. This juice is full of nutrients, which provides energy and vitality to the body. It is with the help of this juice that the cells get nutrition, energy and coolness. Its properties are cold, heavy and smooth and due to this deficiency, many diseases surround the body.
Rasa dhatu is found in the heart, arteries, cells, skin and lymph, and their main function is to nourish and refresh the entire body. It is very important for Rasa Dhatu to be balanced in the body. It becomes unbalanced when the amount of Kapha dosha increases in the body, after which symptoms like swelling in body parts, impurity in blood, slow digestion, frequent feeling of thirst, feeling of weakness, and dryness of mouth are seen. Symptoms are less visible in the initial stage, but if there is excessive deficiency, the consequences can be fatal. In such a situation, if symptoms appear, definitely consult a doctor.
If there is deficiency of Rasa Dhatu in the body, then many remedies have been suggested in Ayurveda to overcome the deficiency of Rasa Dhatu. To overcome Rasa Dhatu deficiency, consumption of Taj fruits is recommended. For this, it is advised to eat pomegranate, papaya, apple, and citrus fruits. Along with this, consumption of cumin water and coconut water is also said to be beneficial.
