India Book of Records recognizes Madhya Pradesh's free health camp: Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia

Shivpuri, March 25 (IANS). Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Wednesday that the one-week free health camp organized in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh has been officially recognized by the India Book of Records.

This multi-specialty health camp was organized from March 17 to March 24 at Shivpuri District Hospital under the joint aegis of Madhavrao Scindia Health Service Mission, Rotary Regional Medical Mission and Government of Madhya Pradesh.

In this camp, facilities ranging from diagnosis of complex diseases related to eyes, teeth and bones to advanced medical consultation and hi-tech robotic surgery were provided. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the medical camp ensured that every patient received timely and high quality treatment.

This initiative not only strengthened access to health services but also opened new avenues of medical care for people living in rural and remote areas.

Doctors at the camp were enrolled for consultation both in person and online, who conducted diagnostic tests for patients and provided complex treatment services, directly benefiting thousands of families in the area.

It is noteworthy that Shivpuri district falling under Gwalior region falls in Guna Lok Sabha constituency, which is represented by North Eastern Region’s Communications and Development Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Expressing happiness over this achievement, Scindia said that this record is not just a statistical milestone but the fulfillment of a resolve which is based on the principle that service to humanity is service to God.

He said that their aim is to ensure that no poor or needy person in the area is deprived of better health facilities. The Union Minister also heartily congratulated the Rotary Club, all the doctors, paramedical staff and volunteers for this historic achievement.

He said in a statement that this record is not just an incident, but a symbol of the collective spirit of service, exemplary management and unwavering commitment towards public welfare. He further said that in this huge camp thousands of patients were provided completely free high quality health services under one roof.
