Kutch, 20 September (IANS). The 15 -day ‘Health Camp’ was organized in various health centers on behalf of the state government in Kutch district of Gujarat.
The purpose of this camp is to make women and adolescents aware of health. Medical checkup of all women is also being done in this camp. District Health Officer Dr. MN Bhanderi gave complete information about this camp in a conversation with news agency IANS.
He informed that this camp was organized on 17 September. The theme of this camp is ‘strong woman, strong family’. This camp will be organized in all health centers. We have decided to organize this camp at more than 600 health centers. In this camp, senior officials associated with the Health Department will go and investigate and review the entire camp.
He informed that in this camp we have laid special emphasis on the health of women mainly. We will emphasize various health of women. We will check their hemoglobin and ensure that if they have any type of health problem, they are treated immediately. Apart from this, we have also sent a team of counselor to the Health Center. The team of medical college will come to the collective health center and will give complete information about their health to women.
The health officer said that Prime Minister Modi also emphasized in his address of September 17 that if the woman in a family remains healthy, then the whole family will be healthy. Keeping this in mind, we have organized this camp, in which we are trying to make women aware of their health.
In addition, he appealed to all women and adolescent girls not to forget to check their health in this medical camp. During this investigation, if there is any kind of problem in their health, then surely health facilities will be provided to them.
At the same time, the beneficiary Jagriti Angel also told about the benefits of this camp. He said that I got medicines from this camp. My medical checkup was done. We were given information about health here. I took medicines from here. Some procedures were to follow this feature, which I did earlier. Many types of medical examination is also done here.
Another beneficiary, Alpa Sharma, said that I am getting good medical treatment here. I am also getting good medicines. The doctors present here ensure that no person who comes here has any kind of health related problem.
