Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister invites JP Nadda to lay the foundation stone of four medical colleges

New Delhi, December 3 (IANS). Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met BJP national president and Union Health Minister JP Nadda in New Delhi on Wednesday and invited him to lay the foundation stone of four new medical colleges in the state.

CM Mohan Yadav along with Indore Lok Sabha MP Shankar Lalwani met JP Nadda at Parliament House late in the evening.

While talking to news agency IANS, the Chief Minister said that colleges will be built in Panna, Katni, Dhar and Betul districts under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.

The Chief Minister said that I have requested Union Health Minister JP Nadda to lay the foundation of four new medical colleges. He has accepted our invitation and will visit Madhya Pradesh by the last week of December.

He further wrote, “On this occasion, respectfully requested to attend the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of 4 new medical colleges based on PPP model in Madhya Pradesh.”

The state government has provided 25 acres of land for each college at a nominal rate of Re 1. In early April, the government announced a policy to provide land to investors and took approval from the cabinet.

Changes were also made to ease the transfer of district hospitals to PPP-built medical colleges.
