New Delhi, June 4 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a ‘Subhashitam’ message on social media platform ‘X’ on Thursday. Through this post, PM Modi appealed to the people to make yoga a part of their daily routine and said that regular practice of yoga keeps the body healthy and the mind calm.
PM Modi wrote in his ex-post, “Regular practice of yoga keeps the body healthy and mind calm. Making it a part of your daily routine makes life balanced and energetic.”
Along with this ‘Subhashitam’ message, PM Modi also shared a Sanskrit verse. This verse is as follows: “Yogen chittasya paden vachham malan sharirasya ca vaidyaken. Yoyapakarot tam pravaram muninaam patanjalin praanjalirantosmi.”
The meaning of this verse is that I bow with folded hands to Maharishi Patanjali, the best among the sages who purifies the mental tendencies of the mind through Yoga, the speech through grammar and the impurities of the body through Ayurveda.
Earlier, in the ‘Subhashitam’ message, on Wednesday, PM Modi had shared an inspirational ‘Subhashitam’ message regarding unity. Through this post he gave the message that the strength of the nation increases manifold with unity and mutual cooperation.
Prime Minister Modi had said that when citizens are united in unity and mutual cooperation, the strength of the nation increases manifold. Due to this collective determination of the people of India, today the country is touching new heights of progress. At the same time, the verse shared with this post was as follows: “Dhumayante vyapetani jwalanti sahitani cha. Dhritarashtrolmukaniev jnatayo bharatarshabh.”
The meaning of this verse is that just as wood cannot express its full energy when separated, but when gathered together, it ignites and provides light and heat, in the same way, the progress, prosperity and strength of a state is based on the unity, mutual cooperation and collective resolve of its citizens.
