New Delhi, May 14 (IANS). Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), Northern Zone has issued an official notification on Wednesday for recruitment to a total of 92 posts of Hospitality Monitor on contract basis, inviting eligible and interested candidates for walk-in-interview.
This appointment by IRCTC will be initially for a period of 2 years and can be extended for one year depending on the need and satisfactory performance.
Candidates appearing for walk-in-interview should have full time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a Central or State Institute of Hotel Management (CIHM/SIHM/PIHM) affiliated to National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM&CT)/UGC/AICTE/Government of India; OR BBA/MBA (Culinary Arts) from Indian Institute of Culinary Arts under Ministry of Tourism; OR B.Sc in Hotel Management and Catering Science or MHA (Tourism and Hotel Management) from Government recognized universities, affiliated to UGC/AICTE/Government of India/State Government.
The maximum age of the applicants has been fixed at 27 years, which will be calculated as of May 1. Whereas candidates coming from reserved category will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per rules.
Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of walk-in-interview, shortlisting, merit list, medical examination, document verification, etc., after which the salary of the selected candidates will be Rs 30,000 per month. Along with this, other benefits and allowances will also be given to the candidates.
Walk-in interviews will be conducted from June 3 to 24 at designated centers from 11 AM to 5 PM in different regions, including in Delhi from June 3 to 5 at ‘IRCTC, North Zone: B-148, 11th Floor of Statesman House, Barakhamba Road, Connaught Place, New Delhi – 110001’; at the Institute of Hotel Management, Srinagar from 11th to 12th June at ‘Rajbagh, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir – 190008’; Chandigarh between June 15 and 16 at ‘IRCTC, Regional Office: SCO- 150, 151, 152, Ground Floor Sector 34-A, Chandigarh – 160022’; Jaipur, Rajasthan between June 18 and 19 at ‘IRCTC, Regional Office: 1st Floor, (Above Union Bank), Jeevan Prakash Building, LIC, Ambedkar Circle, Bhawani Singh Road, Jaipur – 302005’; And will be held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh from 23rd to 24th June at ‘IRCTC, Regional Office: Tourism Bhawan, 2nd Floor, C-13, Vipin Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow – 226010’.
In such a situation, the candidates who are going to attend the interview are advised to reach the center on time and carry with them the hard copy of the filled application form along with the original copies of all the relevant documents and their photocopies.

After this, download the application form given in the notification and take a print out of it. Then enter all the information asked in the form and take it with you on the day of the interview by heart.
