New Delhi, March 23 (IANS). Actress Shilpa Shetty has a special identity in the hearts of fans with her healthy lifestyle and regular yoga practice and often inspires people to do yoga by sharing videos on social media. The actress posted a fitness video on Instagram on Monday.

In the video, the actress is seen doing reverse hyper exercise. Through this video, he not only explained the correct way to reverse hyper this exercise, but also threw light on its many benefits. The actress called it an underrated but very effective exercise, which is especially useful for strengthening the glutes.

Shilpa wrote, “Reverse Hyper has many benefits. Firstly, this exercise very well targets the gluteus maximus muscle through hip extension, which makes the buttocks strong and attractive. Secondly, it is considered quite safe for the lower back. It strengthens the posterior chain i.e. back, glutes and hamstrings and does not put much pressure on the spine.

He further wrote, “In addition, this exercise helps in performing heavy exercises like squats, deadlifts and increases hip extension strength. Also, it builds a balanced posterior chain, i.e. activates the glutes, hamstrings and lower back simultaneously. Finally, when done in a controlled manner, it reduces stiffness in the lower back, which improves blood flow and provides good support to the spine.

The actress also revealed an easy way to do it at home or in the gym. He wrote, “Lift up with the strength of your glutes. Once at the top, hold for 1-2 seconds and then slowly lower down.”

Giving details of sets and reps, he wrote, “Do 15 to 18 reps in 3 sets. Lift up with control. Now hold at the top for 1-2 seconds and slowly come down.
