New Delhi, November 9 (IANS). It is said that keeping the stomach clean keeps most of the diseases away, but due to unbalanced diet, stomach related problems have become common, although there are many yoga asanas whose practice can get rid of these problems.
The Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India emphasizes on making yoga a part of daily life. According to the ministry, ‘Pawanmuktasana’ is a simple but effective asana which can provide relief from many stomach problems. ‘Pawan’ means air and ‘mukt’ means to release or liberate. After this, wait for 10-20 seconds and breathe normally. After this, straighten the right leg and repeat with the left knee. Finally, bend both the knees and put them towards the chest, raise the head and touch the nose with the knees and wait for 30 seconds. It is best to do it in the morning on an empty stomach.
