New Delhi, February 6 (IANS). Mild pain in the stomach and frequent stomach related problems are ignored by considering it as gas or indigestion, but do you know that this is not just a simple stomach pain but is a sign of internal diseases inside the stomach?
Stomach related problems are not just a sign of digestive problems, but they can also be intestinal problems. In today’s time, intestinal problems are increasing due to junk food.
In Ayurveda, intestinal infections have been linked to diarrhea, duodenal defects and helminthiasis. These are mainly caused by the growth of viruses, fungus or parasites in the intestines. Apart from this, if antibiotics are consumed excessively, the problem of intestinal infection may also increase. Consumption of antibiotics affects the good bacteria present in the intestines. Ayurveda has suggested some measures to reduce intestinal infections which help in detoxifying the body.
The first one is buttermilk. Consumption of buttermilk is beneficial for both stomach and intestines. For this, consume roasted cumin seeds and black salt in buttermilk in the afternoon. Buttermilk helps in increasing the good bacteria of the intestines. The second one is Triphala powder. Triphala powder has been considered a panacea for stomach and intestines. It helps in removing the dirt from the stomach and making the intestines healthy. For this, consume Triphala powder daily with lukewarm water at night.
The third is consumption of turmeric and milk. Many times, due to intestinal infection, there is a problem of swelling in the intestines, which becomes a major cause of stomach pain. In such a situation, consuming turmeric and milk at night will provide relief from swelling. Fourth is the consumption of celery and dry ginger. Both celery and dry ginger are beneficial for the stomach and intestines. Consumption of celery and dry ginger provides relief from gas, cramps and indigestion, which reduces pressure on the intestines.
The fifth is consumption of pomegranate peel or juice. Consuming pomegranate peel or juice helps in the growth of good bacteria in the intestines. Pomegranate and pomegranate peel contain tannin and ellagic acid, which helps in reducing inflammation in the intestines. Along with this, wood apple juice is also beneficial for both stomach and intestines.
