In such a situation, it is very important for the menstrual cycle to be regular, but do you know that stress affects the menstrual cycle and causes hormonal imbalance? It is important for all women to know that due to stress, the menstrual cycle can deteriorate to a great extent.

In today’s time, stress and unbalanced lifestyle are among the common problems which affect the menstrual cycle of women. The menstrual cycle is usually of 28 days, but in many women it is also of 30 to 35 days, but arrival of the menstrual cycle before the scheduled time or late arrival, both give rise to the possibility of some disturbance.

Sometimes, due to the effect of some medicines, menstruation comes late or early, but due to hormonal imbalance, the time, day and flow of menstruation also gets affected. Due to prolonged stress, the number of days of menstruation also decreases, which is not good at all.

In case of menstrual cycle problems, yoga is a traditional, safe and effective technique, which helps in establishing balance in both body and mind. This can include doing regular yoga, walking, and light exercise. To strengthen the pelvic area and regulate the menstrual cycle, one can do Adho Mukha Svanasana, Cat-Ka Asana, Balasana, Setu Bandha Sarvangasana, and Butterfly Asana.

Pranayam can be used to reduce stress and for peace of mind, pranayam should be done in a place where there is greenery and connection with nature can be felt. Apart from this, stress can also be reduced through self-care; For this, pamper yourself and also take care of yourself, this will reduce mental stress. Along with this, get enough sleep. Lack of sleep causes stress.

It can also be balanced by taking good diet. Take iron and protein in abundance in your diet, this will prevent anemia in the body and menstrual flow will remain normal.
