New Delhi, 29 September (IANS). Sweet potato, also known as sweet potato, is a special and nutritious root vegetable growing in the soil of India. It is light sweet in taste and can be cooked in many ways, whether boiled, roasted or used in vegetables. Sweet pots filled with nutrients are very beneficial for health, which keeps our body strong.

The color of sweet potato can be white, orange or purple. It is rich in fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium, iron and natural sweetness. The most important thing about sweet potato is that it contains many such elements, which give the body the strength to fight against diseases.

Talk about orange -colored sweet potato, then the source of vitamin A is very high, which helps in increasing eyesight, enhancing the skin and growing children.

On the other hand, purple sweet potato contains an element called anthocyanin, which cleans the dirt inside the body i.e. free radicals. It helps protect against serious problems like heart diseases, cancer, and diabetes. Eating sweet potato also makes the brain sharp.

According to the American Library of Medicine, those who regularly eat extracts made of sweet potato are better. That is, this vegetable can benefit not only the body, but also the brain. Also, it also helps in cleaning intestines and makes the digestive system strong.

Many people believe about sweet potato that cooking ends the nutrients of vegetables, but this is not the case with sweet potato. On cooking in some ways, the beneficial elements present in it become even more active. For example, if the sweet potato is roasted and eaten, then the antioxidants present in it increase. Some fiber and vitamins can come out when boiling, but still it is good for health. Steaming and microwave also do not cause much damage to sweet potato nutrients.
