New Delhi, April 23 (IANS). Nowadays, as it has become easy and quick to get outside food, it is also affecting people’s health. Fast food, hotel food or packed food may taste good, but home-cooked food always remains at the forefront in terms of health.
The biggest reason for this is freshness and purity. While cooking at home, we choose the ingredients ourselves. We use seasonal and fresh vegetables, clean pulses, good grains and spices as per requirement. We know what we are eating. At the same time, the quality of oil, spices and ingredients in outside food cannot be completely trusted.
We ourselves take care of cleanliness while cooking at home. Keeps utensils, kitchen and hands clean. But eating outside does not determine how good the level of cleanliness is. This is the reason why many times stomach problems occur due to eating outside food.
At home we add oil, salt and spices as per our need. If someone likes food with less oil then he can become like that. But outside food often contains more oil, more spices and more salt, which can gradually become harmful for the body.
Balance of nutrition is also important. We can easily include pulses, vegetables, roti, rice and salad in a balanced manner in our home food. This provides all the essential nutrients to the body. There is often no balance in outside food, which can affect health.
Homemade food is not just for filling the stomach, it also involves the love of the family. When someone cooks food for us with his own hands, there is an emotional connection, which also gives mental peace.
Eating home-made food reduces the risk of diseases like obesity, diabetes and high blood pressure. Because in this we can avoid excessive oil, sugar or unhealthy things. Besides, home food is easier to digest. Heavy and fried food from outside puts more burden on the stomach, whereas home food is light and natural.
