New Delhi, June 7 (IANS). On the occasion of World Food Safety Day, the Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers and ministers of Rajasthan, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh greeted the people of the state and the country. He stressed on ensuring purity, quality, nutritional value of food items, preventing food wastage and building a healthy society.
In a post on the social media platform
Rajasthan Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa wrote, “Warm wishes to all of you on World Food Day. Come, let us all pledge together that adequate, nutritious and safe food is available to every person.”
Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary wrote, “Warm wishes to all of you on World Food Safety Day. Let us contribute to building a healthy society by adopting safe, nutritious and quality food. Healthy food is the foundation of a healthy life and a prosperous future.”
Bihar government minister Dilip Jaiswal wrote, “On the occasion of World Food Safety Day, let us all take a pledge today that we will completely stop food wastage, adopt nutritious and safe eating habits and increase awareness about food safety in the society. Ensure your participation in building a healthy society and prosperous nation.”
UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya wrote, “Heartiest greetings to all the countrymen on World Food Security Day and respectful tribute to our Annadata farmers who strengthen the nation’s food security through food production. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, by giving top priority to food security in the country, availability of food grains is being ensured to crores of needy citizens. This effort is a strong example of the government’s commitment towards Antyodaya and public welfare. Come, on this occasion, let us promote safe and nutritious food. Take a pledge to increase public awareness about food security, respectful use of food grains and food security, so that we can contribute to building a healthy, strong and prosperous India.”
UP government minister Nand Gopal Nandi wrote, “Food security, survival. A balanced diet is an essential requirement to protect human life and health. It is our collective responsibility to ensure the availability of pure and balanced diet to the last person of the society, while respecting the labor of our farmers. Strict compliance with food standards from production to consumption is extremely important. Let us take this opportunity to resolve to completely stop food wastage and make food security our top priority.”
