New Delhi, March 11 (IANS). As soon as the summer season arrives, stomach related diseases start troubling us. Appetite goes away and one feels like eating only cold drinks or food.
Complaints of burning sensation in the stomach and chest due to consumption of spicy and spicy food are more common in summer and some people also experience the effect of burning sensation in the form of headache. However, the main cause of burning sensation in the chest and stomach is not only diet but also increased acidity and pitta dosha.
Acidity is not just a burning sensation in the stomach. According to Ayurveda, this may be a sign of increase in bile and acid in the body. When bile increases, many types of symptoms can appear in the body, such as burning sensation in the stomach, sour belching, feeling heavy in the head or burning sensation in the eyes. In such a situation, some cooling and bile pacifying liquids are mentioned in Ayurveda, such as Shatavari, Shankha Bhasma and Mulethi. Their balanced use is considered helpful in calming the Agni of the body and keeping the Pitta balanced.
First let us know why bile and acidity increases in summer. There are many reasons behind this, such as eating late at night, eating too much spicy and fried food, consuming too much tea and coffee, excessive stress, and staying on an empty stomach for a long time can also increase the acid condition in the stomach. For this, asparagus and conch ash can be consumed. Consuming both by mixing them in equal quantity keeps the stomach cool and produces less acid.
Apart from this, consumption of liquorice and sugar candy also helps in calming the burning sensation in the stomach. Take the mixture of both with lukewarm milk or water. It reduces heat in the stomach and reduces burning sensation in the chest and throat. Now let us know what to do so that the effect of acidity in the stomach is reduced and bile also remains balanced.
For this, have dinner before sunset. Do not sit immediately after meals but take a light walk. With this, the food will be digested well and the problem of gas and sour belching in the stomach will also be reduced. In summer, eat light food that cools the stomach, like khichdi and porridge.
