According to UIDAI, from 1 October 2025, they will not charge any fees to update the Aadhaar of children. This facility will remain till 30 September 2025. During this time, you will be able to update your Aadhaar card and biometric free of your 5 to 17 years of age. Nearly 6 crore children will benefit from UIDAI for free Aadhaar updates.

After the age of the child is 5 years, his biometric and iris scan is done in the center of UIDAI. After which the hair base is formed. At the same time, between the ages of 15 and 17, children are re -updated by scanning biometric and iris. The Aadhaar card is the necessary document given by the government. It is used as evidence of identity and address. Keep in mind that Aadhaar card is not proof of citizenship.
