On Tuesday, a special Air India flight from Dubai carrying 149 passengers reached Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport safely. This is no less than a big good news for those passengers who were stranded there due to closure of air services for the last few days and were waiting to return to their country.

Ticket refund and what is the future plan?
In view of the current situation in the Middle East, Air India has stopped all regular flights to UAE, Saudi Arabia, Israel and Qatar till 11:59 pm on March 3. The airline has made it clear that those whose flights have been canceled need not worry.
Passengers will get full refund of the ticket amount. If the passenger wishes, he can change the date of his flight once without any extra charge (Free Rescheduling). Apart from this, long distance flights going to America or Europe are now being routed through safe routes, due to which the journey is taking a little more time.
Update from Dubai and other airlines
Dubai Airport was almost closed since February 28, but now from the evening of March 2, limited flights have gradually started there so that the crowd can be reduced. IndiGo has also decided to operate 10 relief flights from Jeddah and SpiceJet 4 from UAE. Amidst all this, CBSE has also postponed the 10th and 12th board exams to be held on March 5 and 6 at centers in Gulf countries in view of security.
