On March 16, these two airlines together have decided to operate a total of 48 flights to West Asia. These include both scheduled and non-scheduled flights. For which cities and countries will these 48 flights operate?
Air India Group has said that out of total 48 flights, 22 will be regular (Scheduled) flights, while 26 will be ad-hoc (Non-Scheduled) flights. Ad-hoc flights are being operated after obtaining permission from the airport authorities of UAE and Saudi Arabia. Complete information about these flights is given below.
Saudi Arabia (Jeddah): There will be a total of 10 flights here. Air India will fly from Delhi and Mumbai, while Air India Express will serve from Bengaluru, Kozhikode and Mangaluru.
Oman (Muscat): 12 regular flights have been scheduled for Muscat, which will connect to Delhi, Kannur, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi.
UAE and Riyadh: 26 special flights will be operated to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Riyadh. Operation of these flights will depend on slots and local permissions.
