New Delhi. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Jasir Bilal Wani, a key associate of Delhi Red Fort car bomb accused Omar un Nabi. Jasir, arrested from Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, is accused of modifying drones and also trying to make rockets so that they can be used for explosions. NIA is conducting a thorough investigation and raids are being conducted in the states to expose the entire conspiracy.
On the other hand, during the Northern Zonal Council meeting in Faridabad today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in blunt words that those who carried out the Delhi bomb blasts will be hunted down even from hell. Investigation has revealed that the terrorists associated with the blast were continuously trying to modify the drones and use them as weapons. On the lines of Hamas, they wanted to target different places, mainly crowded areas, through these modified drones. NIA is currently interrogating Jasir Bilal Wani after which many more secrets may come to light. Meanwhile, the number of people who lost their lives in the blast has increased further. The death toll has now reached 15 with the death of two other injured, Lukman (50) and Vinay Pathak (50), admitted to Delhi’s LNJP Hospital.
On the other hand, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police has issued a notice to Jawad Farooqui, the founder of Al Falah University, Faridabad, where Dr. Muzammil and Dr. Shaheen, who were working in the Delhi blast, were arrested. Delhi Police may soon call Faruqui for questioning. Police have already interrogated many people associated with the university and some other employees are yet to be interrogated.
