Jodhpur. Under the ongoing grand statue Pratishtha Mahotsav at BAPS Swaminarayan Temple, Jodhpur, a specially dedicated ‘Women’s Day’ was concluded with reverence, devotion and gaiety. This day organized on the auspicious occasion of Navratri became a soulful attempt to express gratitude to the honor of mother power and contribution. The event was launched by the auspicious tune and prayer by the young woman mandal. After this, the grand palanquin entry and lamp lighting ceremony made the entire atmosphere filled with devotion.
This special event that lasted throughout the day underlined cultural presentations, inspirational discourses, video performances and the invaluable contribution of women power to the society through the Udbodhans of distinguished guests. On this occasion, on behalf of BAPS Jodhpur Mahila Mandal, Durgaben Solanki provided a motivational discourse on the subject of ‘glory of the temple’. In his discourse, she also presented a pithy views on the central role of the temple in child education and family unity in his discourse.
This Women’s Day not only made an opportunity to bow down to the spiritual, cultural and social contribution of female power in the society, but it also gave all the women present more strong inspiration towards religion, service and value life. Let us know that on September 25, Sita-Ram, Hanuman ji, Lord Ghanshyam, Neelkanthvani Maharaj, Aksharpurushottam Maharaj, Radha-Krishna, Shiva-Paravati and Ganesh Bhagwan were present. The next day, the Shilpi Samman Sabha was organized on 26 September.
Guru Mahant Swami Maharaj of BAPS worshiped and honored every craftsman who supported the temple construction. This temple built on the land of 42 bigha campus has been constructed by more than 500 artisans from Jodhpur, Jaipur, Pindwara, Sagwara, Bharatpur. BAPS is the first temple of the institution which is built with Jodhpuri Chitar Stones.
