In Pakistan’s Balochistan province, security forces have carried out the biggest and most decisive action against terrorism so far. Within the last 40 hours, the army and security agencies have killed 145 terrorists in a massive operation. After this gruesome action, high alert has been issued in the entire area and security arrangements have been made very tight. This operation is being considered a major attack in response to the increasing terrorist incidents in recent times.

Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti gave information in a press conference in Quetta, said- joint operation of army and police foiled the plans of terrorists.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti officially confirmed the operation during a press conference in Quetta on Sunday. He said that the security forces had launched this operation on the hideouts of terrorists on the basis of accurate intelligence information. During this time, the army and police personnel displayed indomitable courage and surrounded the terrorists. The Chief Minister said in clear words that those challenging the security and sovereignty of the state will not be spared at any cost. He said that the killed terrorists also included many big commanders, who were trying to spread unrest in the state for a long time.

Strict action against banned organization Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and other groups, security arrangements tightened in the entire province

Recently, a huge surge in terrorist activities was seen in Balochistan, after which the government has taken this strict step. The retaliatory action has been taken specifically in response to the attacks carried out by the banned terrorist organization Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and its Majeed Brigade. Let it be known that some time ago, many innocent people and soldiers had lost their lives in the bomb blast at Quetta Railway Station. After this major operation, the administration has increased patrolling in other sensitive areas including Quetta and every suspicious activity is being closely monitored.

Government’s commitment to root out terrorism, such operations will continue in future also under the National Action Plan.

The Pakistan government and army have made it clear that the fight against terrorism is now at a crucial juncture. Officials say that establishing peace in Balochistan and ensuring the safety of civilians is their top priority. Under the National Action Plan, better coordination has been established between intelligence agencies and security forces, so that the hidden hideouts of terrorists can be accurately targeted. Chief Minister Bugti also indicated that this operation of the security forces will continue with full force until the last terrorist is eliminated.
