Bihar Assembly Election: Despite reconciliation in the Grand Alliance, there is a problem on six seats of Bihar Assembly, none of the candidates of the constituent parties have withdrawn their names, Candidates from mahagathbandhan contesting on six seats in the Bihar Assembly election 2025

Patna. Recently, the leaders of the constituent parties of the Grand Alliance had declared RJD leader and Lalu Yadav’s younger son Tejashwi Yadav as their CM face in a joint press conference. It was expected that one of the candidates of the constituent parties of the Grand Alliance, who were contesting on several seats in the Bihar Assembly elections, would withdraw his name. Nevertheless, even after the date of withdrawal of nominations, the Grand Alliance candidates are still facing each other on six seats. These are the six seats of the second round of Bihar assembly elections. Out of which RJD and Congress candidates are contesting on four.

Apart from Lalan Yadav of Congress, Chandan Sinha of RJD is also a candidate for Sultanganj seat of Bihar Assembly. At the same time, neither of Congress’s Praveen Kushwaha and RJD’s Rajneesh Bharti have withdrawn their names from Kahalgaon assembly seat. RJD’s Deepak Yadav and Congress’s Shashwat Kedar Pandey are contesting on Narkatiaganj seat. At the same time, apart from Vinod Chaudhary of Congress, Uday Narayan Chaudhary of RJD is also in the fray for Sikandra Assembly seat of Bihar Assembly. Grand alliance members Mahendra Gupta of CPI and Santosh Mishra of Congress have filed nomination for Karghar assembly seat in Bihar. At the same time, in Chainpur seat, RJD’s Brij Kishore Bind and Mukesh Sahni’s VIP’s Govind Bind are facing each other.

In the press conference held to declare Tejashwi Yadav as the CM face, veteran Congress leader Ashok Gehlot had said that we will campaign together. Gehlot had said that there can be a friendly fight on five-six seats, but the question is that wherever the candidates of the constituent parties of the Grand Alliance compete with each other, what steps will they take for the other? Also, the big question is that for whom will the big leaders of RJD, Congress, CPI and VIP ask for votes on these six seats and for whom will they request the public not to vote?
