Mumbai Nusli Neville Wadia, grandson of India’s famous industrialist and Pakistan founder Mohammad Ali Jinnah, is in trouble. The Mumbai Police has registered a case against 7 people including Nusli Wadia, his wife Morin, son Ness Wadia and Jahangir Wadia. The Mumbai Police has registered a case on the order of the court at Borivali, Mumbai. Nusli Wadia’s father’s name was Neville Wadia and mother’s name was Dina Wadia. Dina Wadia’s father was Mohammad Ali Jinnah. On becoming Pakistan, Dina did not go there with her father and stayed in India.
Mahendra Chande had complained in the court against Nusli Wadia and others that the accused gave fake documents in the court. Mahendra Chandde is the CEO of Farony Hotels Private Limited. Actually, Farony Hotels Private Limited was to do development work on a land in Malad, Mumbai. After which it was decided to give 12 percent of the income from the sale to the Wadia Group. The agreement between Chande and Wadia Group got into a dispute in 2008 and the matter reached court. Chandde has complained to the Borivali Metropolitan Magistrate Court that fake documents were given by Nusli Wadia’s family during the hearing in the Bombay High Court.
On the complaint of Mahendra Chandde, the Borivali court took cognizance and ordered the Mumbai Police to register a case against Nusli Wadia, his wife and sons and others. A case has been registered at Nusli Wadia and others at Bangar Nagar police station in Mumbai under all the sections of BNS. The allegations also include criminal conspiracy, forgery and fraud. If these allegations are proved in the court, then Nusli Wadia, his wife Morin, son Ness and Jahangir can prove to be very difficult for the accused. These allegations are considered very serious and strict punishment has also been provided in BNS.
