New Delhi. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the final date sheet for the board examinations of classes 10th and 12th to be held in 2026. Class 10 board exams will start from 17 February 2026 and continue till 10 March 2026. At the same time, the board exams of class 12th will also start from 17th February itself, although it will end on 9th April 2026. It has also been informed by CBSE that as per the recommendations of the National Education Policy, two board examinations for class 10th will be conducted in 2026.

The final datesheet of board exams can be viewed and downloaded by visiting the official website of CBSE cbse.gov.in. All 10th and 12th board exams will start in the same shift from 10:30 am. CBSE has asked students to reach the examination center at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam. It will be mandatory for all students to carry their admit card and school ID card with them during the examination. CBSE had earlier released the tentative date sheet of the examination schedule on September 24 so that the students can start their preparation for the examination and prepare the outline of the school’s examination related work.
Now CBSE has released the final date sheet 110 days before the exam. CBSE has said that the purpose of releasing the date sheet in advance is that the students focus on their preparation according to the list and they get enough time for it. Efforts have been made to finish the board examinations before various entrance examinations so that students do not face any problem. In 2026, about 45 lakh students of class 10th and 12th will appear in the board examinations.
