Chamoli. There was a disaster in Nandanagar area of Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Nandanagar on Saturday. He met the affected families and assured them of all possible help. Life after disaster in Nandanagar region is gradually becoming normal. CM Dhami visited here and reviewed the situation himself.
During the regional inspection, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the progress of relief and rescue operations. He also directed the administration of Chamoli district to take fast action to provide relief to the victims in Nandanagar. He clearly said that the victims should not have any kind of inconvenience. Chief Minister Dhami met personally affected families and came to know about their well being. He assured all possible assistance to the victims’ families. CM Dhami said that in this hour of crisis, the Uttarakhand government is standing firmly with the victims. He said that all necessary resources are being made available on priority basis.
After inspecting relief camps in Nandanagar in Chamoli district, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami also saw facilities like food, drinking water, medical, cleanliness and temporary shelter. CM Dhami of Uttarakhand also assured that all efforts to restore the general situation in the lives of people as soon as possible. He said that concrete steps will be taken to find a permanent solution to deal with such disasters in future. CM Dhami also assured the people of Nandanagar that all resources are also being deployed to provide relief. Senior administrative officers, members of the disaster management team and public representative were also present during the visit of Chief Minister Dhami in Nandanagar.
