New Delhi. The Haryana government is going to provide financial assistance of Rs 2,100 every month with the aim of making women of the state self -reliant. The government has issued a notification of Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana. Under this scheme, Rs 2,100 per month will be deposited by the government in the account of every eligible woman of 23 years and older. The scheme will be effective from September 25. Before the assembly elections, the BJP had promised the people of the state that after the formation of the government, it will implement Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana, taking steps towards women empowerment.
The government has set some standards for eligibility under Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana. Women who are 23 years or older will be able to join this scheme. Along with this, the annual income of the family of any woman joining this scheme should not be more than Rs 1 lakh. It is mandatory to reside in Haryana for at least 15 years. Only women who fulfill all these conditions will be able to become the beneficiaries of the scheme. A very good thing about this scheme is that no matter how many women in a family, if they meet the eligibility standards, then everyone will get the benefit of the scheme. However, for this, every woman must have their own active bank account.
The scheme will be applied for this scheme through the ‘Lado Laxmi App’ prepared by Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Limited. Women applying will have to provide information related to the Aadhaar card details, residence, income certificate, electricity connection details, and details of the bank account. Apart from this, it will be mandatory for beneficiary women to do face verification through this app every month.
