New Delhi. DNA test has revealed that the car in which the blast took place near the Red Fort in Delhi last Monday was being driven by the accused Dr. Omar Un Nabi. Part of the leg of Dr. Umar Un Nabi was found in the car. The DNA samples taken from his mother and this foot matched. The investigators have also obtained a new CCTV video. This is the video before the car explosion. The video is of Turkman Gate area near Red Fort. In the CCTV video, Dr. Umar is seen walking on the road. He passes a man talking on the phone. Then he turns his face towards her.

After the confirmation of the death of Dr. Umar Un Nabi in the car blast, the investigation has now intensified. Apart from NIA, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana and Delhi Police and UP ATS are also involved in the investigation. Till now, 6 doctors including Adil, Muzammil, Shaheen, Parvez and 2 Maulvis have been arrested in the conspiracy case. The Ford EcoSport car which Dr. Umar Un Nabi had purchased at a fake address has also been recovered from a village late on Wednesday evening. Jaish-e-Mohammed posters were found on the outskirts of Srinagar on October 17. As the investigation was carried forward, a conspiracy to carry out a massive blast was revealed.
Jammu and Kashmir Police had arrested Dr. Adil after several overground workers of Jaish. AK-47 rifle was found from Adil’s locker. Then on Monday itself, Dr. Muzammil Ganai and Dr. Shaheen were arrested from Faridabad. AK-47 rifle was also found from Shaheen’s car. Whereas, a large number of explosives, chemicals and other materials for making IED were recovered from Muzammil’s room. After receiving the news of his arrest, Dr. Umar Un Nabi had absconded and there was a blast in his i20 car at 6.50 pm on Monday evening. There are chances of more accused being arrested in this case.
