New Delhi. NIA (National Investigation Agency) court today ordered to send Aamir Rashid Ali, accused of the blast near Red Fort in Delhi, on 10-day remand. During NIA remand, Aamir will be interrogated and he will be asked to extract information regarding the blasts. Aamir is a resident of Pampore, Jammu and Kashmir and the i20 car in which the blast was carried out was registered in Aamir’s name only. NIA raided and arrested Aamir on Sunday. Aamir is accused of conspiring to carry out the blast along with suicide bomber Dr. Omar Un Nabi.
On the other hand, the agencies investigating the blast have received some more important information. According to media reports, it is suspected that suicide bomber Dr. Omar Un Nabi had used shoe bomber and TATP explosive kept hidden in shoes for the blast. Actually, the forensic team had found a shoe under the driving seat of the blasted i20 car, metal particles have been traced in that shoe and traces of explosive material have also been found from the tire of the car, that is why it is being considered a possibility. At present, further investigation is being done in this regard.
Let us tell you that on the evening of November 10, 13 people lost their lives while 27 were injured in the blast that took place at the Red Light near the Red Fort in Delhi. Some of the injured are still admitted in Delhi’s LNJP Hospital. The investigation of this entire case has been handed over to the Union Home Ministry and NIA. Apart from this, other security agencies and police of different states are also cooperating in the investigation of the case. Continuous raid operations are going on from Jammu and Kashmir to UP, Delhi and other places to arrest the terrorists related to the blast.
