Delhi Fire Service said on Saturday that Max hospitals were threatened with bombs at three places in Shalimar Bagh, Saket and Dwarka in the national capital.
The fire department said that a call came at Max Hospital in Dwarka, Delhi on Saturday at 16:47 pm. Officials said that the Delhi Police and the Fire Department team were deployed in both hospitals and a search operation was started. Meanwhile, on Saturday, on Saturday, the Taj Palace Hotel in the national capital received an email with a bomb threat, which was later said by Delhi Police.
Nothing suspects were found during the hotel search and Delhi Police started investigating the case. A spokesman from the Hotl said, “After intensive security check, government officials have said that the incident was a deception. The safety of our guests and employees is paramount for us and we are constantly alert.”
On Friday, there was a serious security concern in the Delhi High Court when the e-mail, warning of bombs in and around the court premises, caused chaos and proceedings were interrupted, as soon as the alert spread, all the benches of the High Court immediately stood up and the lawyers, lawsuits and employees were taken out of the premises. The incident of this sudden evacuation caused chaos and people started running out of the court premises.
Security forces, including Delhi Police and bomb disposal squads, immediately laid siege to the area. Firefight vehicles and ambulances were deployed on the spot as a precaution, while the teams of investigative dogs conducted a thorough search of the campus. No suspicious items have been recovered till now. Officials have confirmed that investigation is going on to find out the source of threatened email and identify the people behind it. Delhi police sources have confirmed that the High Court’s warning to bomb the bomb was issued via email by an unidentified person or individuals.
