Aviation safety regulator DGCA on Tuesday said it has cut airline company IndiGo’s flight services by five percent from December 1, 2025, following massive flight disruptions. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued an order in this regard on Tuesday.
According to the statement, flights have been reduced in all sectors, especially on high demand routes. IndiGo has also been directed to submit the revised schedule to DGCA by 5 pm on Wednesday.
Earlier, Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu had said on Monday that the routes on which IndiGo operates flight services will be reduced as part of the government’s ongoing winter programme.
Under the winter program of financial year 2025-26, the airline is operating more than 2,200 flights daily.
