New Delhi. An FIR has been lodged against the IT cell of the Congress party for making deepfack AI video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother at the North Avenue Police Station in Delhi. A police complaint was lodged on 12 September by BJP leader Sanket Gupta. Taking action, the Delhi Police has filed a case under the IT Act and Digital Data Protection Act including Sections 318 (2), 336 (3), 340 (2), 356 (2) and 61 (2) of the Indian Justice Code. The BJP had described Modi and his mother’s deepfack AI video as a disgusting task of the Congress.
The BJP leader had said in his complaint that the sentiments of crores of people have been hurt and Modi fans have been hurt by seeing this fake video. An attempt has been made to harm the image of PM Modi and his late mother through the video. The BJP has also demanded that this video be deleted from all social media platforms and strict action should be taken against the video maker. Let us tell you that on September 10, a video of PM Narendra Modi and his mother which was made through AI was posted from the official social media handle of Bihar Congress. The Congress wrote with the video, the mother came in Sahab’s dreams.
